On March 15 in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, PFI Fareast hosted a significant seminar on “Comprehensive Interpretation of EU Requirements for the Control and Testing of Harmful Chemicals in Footwear.” Our technical team, along with hundreds of practitioners from the footwear industry, have gone through the new version of CADS RSL requirements and exchanged insight on EU’s chemical control requirements for footwear products.
Dr. Tommy Ou, General Manager of PFI Fareast Quanzhou, delivered a welcome speech to the guests. He credited the team for providing professional and customized services to a wide range of clients. In the ever-changing market environment, we strive to help businesses tackle challenges.
During the seminar, PFI’s technical team provided a detailed interpretation of the latest CADS RSL and the widely-concerned hazardous chemicals, perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). They fielded questions regarding the differences between old and new standards in testing and product risks, and also helped guests understand how to navigate RSL tests set forth by brands.
