The “Guide to Lieferkettengesetz – Building Responsible Global Supply Chains” virtual conference is now scheduled to take place on the new date of May 20th 2021 at 09:00 am CEST/ 03:00 pm HKT. We look forward to seeing you at the conference.

Event Introduction:

The German Due Diligence law “Lieferkettengesetz” (LKG) is planned to come into force in 2023, and is set to foster responsible textile sourcing.

Countries like the United Kingdom (2015) and France (2017) have already implemented similar laws. The implementation of such supply chain laws have already sparked speculation about what a new normal will look like in European markets, and how the laws will alter the consumer market and its landscape.

Join PFI Fareast in collaboration with cads as we bring together international stakeholders responsible for the implementation of LKG, with those who are directly impacted by the law: Join PFI, brands, traders, NGOs and suppliers to discuss the implications of the law on global supply chains.

We will take a deep dive into the challenges and the changes to the market landscape as a product of the LKG. Collectively we will search for feasible opportunities for the global implementation of the law.

Stay tuned for more event details.
